This page explains what personal information Marati Family Day Care collects when you enquire about a place, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are
Marati Family Day Care is a home-based family day care service run by Maria in Suffolk Park, NSW 2481. The service is registered through Far North Coast Family Day Care, an approved provider.

What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to enrol your child. That is usually:
- your name and the name of your child
- your phone number and email address
- your child's age and the days or hours you are looking for
- anything else you choose to tell us in your message
We do not ask for or collect payment details, government identifiers, or health information through this website or through our advertising. If your child is enrolled, any further information (including health, dietary and emergency contact details) is collected through Far North Coast Family Day Care's own enrolment process and handled under their privacy policy.
How we collect it
- By text or phone. The "Enquire" buttons on this website open a text message to Maria. Nothing is sent until you press send, and this website does not see or store the message.
- Through Facebook and Instagram. We sometimes run advertising with a contact form built into Facebook or Instagram. If you fill one in, Meta collects the details you enter and passes them to us. Meta's own handling of that information is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
- In conversation. If you call, text, or visit, we may write down what you tell us.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, discuss availability, and — if you enrol — to care for your child and meet our obligations as a family day care educator. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not sell them.
Who we share it with
- Far North Coast Family Day Care, our approved provider, where enrolment goes ahead or where the scheme needs the information to meet its regulatory duties.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only where you chose to contact us through one of their forms — they already hold what you entered.
- Government agencies, where we are required by law, such as for Child Care Subsidy administration or child safety obligations.
We do not disclose your information overseas, other than through the Meta services described above, which store data outside Australia.
This website
This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking. There is no contact form on the site — enquiries go through your own phone's messaging app.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. That is the only third-party request the site makes.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs.
Storage and security
Enquiries are kept on Maria's phone and in her email account, both password-protected and used only by her. Where information is passed to Far North Coast Family Day Care, it is held in their systems under their security arrangements.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a place, we delete your details once the conversation has clearly finished — generally within twelve months. Enrolment records are kept for as long as the National Regulations require.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Text or call 0431 709 333 and we will handle it within a reasonable time, at no cost.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first on 0431 709 333 so we can put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
